But he's not bringing it up to discuss the Keating 5 or make people cast back to 1989 (?) and dwell on the particulars of the case. He's bringing it to chip away at people's trust in McCain and the "maverick outsider maverick" image he tries to sell for himself. What Obama has over McCain and his use of Ayers is that "Keating 5" is part of the vernacular--and McCain was one of those 5. He received a reprimand from the Senate Ethics Committee for poor judgment. There's a solid paper trail and connection. Any link between Obama and Ayers are much more tenuous and therefore harder to sell--for those who might be inclined to believe them.

Why cant you seem to understand that it is the fact that obama even tolerated being friends with this terrorist that is the problem. The details are not important. Even if he only spent 5 minutes talking to this guy that would be a problem.
He has very bad judgment. End of story.

Not in my book. And I'm voting--in a swing state, no less. Are you?

Well that is exactly the problem. That you can't see that it is a problem.
I think it is fairly obvious to most genuinely independent voters that this puts a big question mark over his judgment.

So is the "evil" in your signature line Obama? No judgment problems there.

You can just keep dreaming that Obama is special and he doesn't play dirty - like every other successful politician. Sooner or later you will have to wake up to the fact that he is a professional politician and not the Lord Savior reincarnated.

Or maybe I'm just a racist like the Clintons and Obama is a saint?

    I'm not, they're not, and he's not.

If its so obvious that Obama went negative against Hillary in the primaries, why won't you give us actual evidence of same, instead of piling up more straw men than are seen in an episode of Worzel Gummidge?

Gosh, I have no idea why you though I am angry. I'm not in the least.
As for the evil in the signature line. It is a reference to policies.
I really only need to get you to watch one thirty second video to understand what I am talking about.

Oh boy. Look, I respect your views on this, Obama's record aside (which the anti-abortion crowd always get wrong, I suspect on purpose). Or at least I do for the next 4 weeks, while my privacy rights are still secure.

However. There's a reason no one is talking abortion very loudly in this election, not even Caribou Barbie. Economy is the one and only issue right now. Followed by Iraq and health care, when people just can't think for one minute longer about the meltdown happening before our eyes. Do you have a video clip on that? (Obama's Keating 5 clip is 13 minutes---way too long and boring).
