First of all this "kill him" story is a load of BS

Secret Service says "Kill him" allegation unfounded | Wilkes-Barre breaking news | timesleader.com - The Times Leader

Secondly Obama has some fairly dodgy friends and not just Ayers. If Karl Rove was in charge of the McCain campaign he would be throwing bucket laods at him. Obama has got off very very lightly.

A fact you cannot deny.

You should retract that last remark.
Retract what remark...that McCain is pathetic? But he is--he's tragically pathetic, in the classical sense. Prominent military family, war "hero", high-profile marriage, one of the more interesting senate careers, but in the end completely brought down by a tragic flaw(s). It'd make a great play. And if he makes into the American history books at all, this last year will be his paragraph--this is all that schoolkids will learn about him.

Unless, of course, he wins. Then I feel sure history will deal with him even more harshly, given what his presidency will undoubtedly be like.

I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC (Republican National Committee) because you need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist Bill Ayres, whose organization bombed the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, a judge's home and killed Americans. And Democrats will enact an extreme leftist agenda if they take control of Washington. Barack Obama and his Democratic allies lack the judgment to lead our country. This call was paid for by McCain-Palin 2008 and the Republican National Committee at 202-863-8500."

"Hundreds of thousands" of calls are being made in at least half a dozen hard-fought states including Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio, the sources said.

Here's Fox's take

HENDERSON, Nev. -- Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden accused Republicans of employing "scurrilous" campaign tactics and urged supporters not to be distracted from the economic issues affecting their lives.
Biden pointed to automated phone calls sent to voters in key swing states by Republican John McCain's campaign. The calls attempt to link Democrat Barack Obama to former '60s radical William Ayers.
The calls assert Obama "worked closely with domestic terrorist" Ayers, though there is no evidence the Illinois senator and Ayers are close.
This is idiocy by McCain, he is not even getting air cover from Fox on this one. All he is doing is whipping up the Republican base into an ugly mob.

Well, well. Bombing the Pentagon? Obama's ties with Ayers lend him credibility in my book.

What's wrong with bombing the Pentagon?

What's wrong with using violence against a regime that was at the time engaged in the wholesale mass slaughter of millions of innocent Vietnamese on the opposite side of the planet?
