Zogby predicts landslide ... for Obama ?

Polls have shown a consistently high number of "don't know but will vote" ... about 8-14 percentage points. John Zogby of Zogby thinks that they will all swing en masse:

Pollster says election could end in landslide

One of the country's top pollsters was in Rochester on Thursday and suggested that the November presidential election will end in an electoral landslide, even though the candidates are running close.

"Essentially the election is at equilibrium," said John Zogby, president of Zogby International. "This election will stay close until the end."

Zogby said he thinks the race will turn in the last weekend before Election Day and though the popular vote will be tight, the successful candidate will win in a landslide.

Despite two books by Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, Americans still don't know enough about him. And if they don't think they know him well enough by the time they vote, they'll go with the "comfortable old shoe," Republican Sen. John McCain, Zogby said.

If Obama can convince voters, he'll increase turnout among young people and minorities, Zogby said.
One clear thing that came out from polls on last night's debate and reaction from GOP analysts was that Obama did look presidential. I agree with Zogby... the unknowns are waiting, by now they should know McCain - it's up to Obama to prove himself to them... if he does: landslide.

The last wek has been litlle short of disasterous for McCain. Palin has looked completly out of her depth, the financial crisis and McCain's "on again off again" campain has made him look indecisive. The debates were seen as being McCain's trump card but he's now perceived as losing the first one. The current political climate will bring a lot more people to the polls and right now I think Obama (and also the accident prone Biden) only needs not to make any big gaffs to win in November.
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

HOPEFULLY! But the unwillingness of the many, many racists in the US (incl. a lot of so called Irish) to accept a black face in the WHITE HOUSE may still prove to be an insurmountable hurdle

Yeah I'd predict a landslide for Obama, pre-supposing there isn't some astounding PR from the McCain side.

Name one Irish racist in the US.
Alternatively admit that you're talking your usual tripe.

You know as much about the US as you know about everything else you offer us your inanities on.

Are you honestly saying that there isn't at least one Irish-American racist? Out of millions?

    Zogby???

    Predicting a landslide for Obama?

Poor Obama. Having Zogby predict an Obama victory is the equivalent of a party in Ireland being endorsed by Future Taoiseach and Keith M, ie a disaster. Zogby's record of predictions in this election is so bad it is in Future Taoiseach/Keith M league! Zogby achieved the unique achievement of being 100% wrong on everything in the presidential elections this year.
