The polls say Obama won this debate.

UNLESS the people answering said polls were actually comparing the issues, which would be nice, I don't see how anyone could say that.

He missed so many opportunities to hammer McCain on economics, the only good dig he got in was the "you were wrong" tirade on Iraq.

Then I could not believe he let him get away with saying "I take care of veterans I always have" when the veterans organsiations give him a 20% score! they give Obama 70%, not to mention he voted against the GI bill saying it was "too generous"

Not to mention he didn't adiquatly answer the "meeting with your enemyes" debate, Nixon met with China, Reagan with the soviets did he mention that? No!
What was worse was Obama saying (rightly) the idea that you'd sit there impassivly while someone is spewing hate against Isreal and not respond is stupid, and McCain goes "so wed what? say your NOT gonna destroy Isreal?" YES JOHN thats what you'd say, you'd say try it and we'll wipe YOU off the map you little psyco.

As others have said, ultimatly who "won" will be determined by which clips are replayed the most, McCains sneering, smirking and not looking at Obama is getting alot of play.
It could be the next "Al Gore sigh" or Bush sr looking at his watch.
