Palin: Wall street bailout is about.....health care

Ah ffs just when you think she cant get any dumber....
    Talking to Katie Couric again...
COURIC: Why isn’t it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? ... Instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

PALIN: Ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy– Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions.

I'm afraid this is one you can't lay on Palin alone...this is the entire GOP platform.

Is she any dumber than Obama. He was talking today about fighting malaria. Nobody on the street I live on has malaria. As unbelieveable as it seems McCain was praising Clinton and he too was talking about malaria today. Anyone that would support either is a nut-job as one is dumber than the other.

She's right. If the economy is down the pan then there'll no health care no matter what.

He was talking about Malaria in the context of the millenium development goals at the Clinton Global Initiative. Palin, I warrant, would pray that the evil demon Plasmodium depart from this soul....
Nice try tho YD. Keep it up.

Were they talking about problems with malaria in the US or around the world?

100s of millions of people get malaria every year and over 1 million children die from its effects each year.

Thats all well and good and Obama might be worried about his brother starving in the mud hut. His granny who is not his real granny but a different wife of his grandfather is being eaten by big flies judging from the video clips I've seen so he has cause for concern. These unpleasant facts aside I would prefer him to McNutcase.

There is a crisis here in the US at the moment as we all know so people will be checking to see what the candidates have to say. So they check google and find out that both were talking abour Malaria. This might come as a shock but we don't give a bollix about Malaria

I'd be more scared of Obama or that dimwit Biden. Palin strikes me as a decent woman. Or perhaps your problem is that she is a woman.
