    One slight problem guys.

He wanted and still wants up to 10 town hall debated with Obama.

Obama says no. I guess an intimate atmosphere without a teleprompter might be difficult for him.

McCain was even willing to go for a Lincoln douglas where Obama's teleprompter skills would blow McCain away but no sale.

Or at least as close as we have this far East...
Mr Gormley described calls for the resignation of his cabinet colleague as "absolute nonsense". He said Mr Lenihan was doing "a very good job under exceptionally difficult circumstances".

Tonight could potentially be a knockout blow to McCain's campaign if Obama comes out of it looking reliable, smart and level headed and McCain slips up. On the other hand if Obama slips up we are back to square one with he having all the advantages in terms of the political landscape but seemingly unable to close the deal.

    Fox

Just 30 percent of Americans say they support Bush's package, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll

The survey also showed overwhelming support for holding Friday night's first debate between the two presidential candidates as scheduled.

Sixty percent said the debate should be held and 22 percent preferred that it be postponed, with the rest undecided.
If Obama wins or draws debate and McCain doesn't get credit for bailout deal then MCain is finished ... and the bailout deal may prove a poisoned chalice.

    Try here: http://debatehub.c-span.org/

According to the site, "This debate is scheduled to begin at 9pm ET on 9/26. Check back at 9:10pm ET for embeddable video."

    Is that 2am our time?
