McCain's Son was on Silver State Bank's board of Directors!

McCain's son, Andrew, conveniently resigned from the board of directors of Silver State Bank just before the s**t hit the fan. http://rawstory.com/news/2008/McCain...ards_0727.html
According to this guy,http://economicrot.blogspot.com/2008...er-domino.html , he managed to avoid a headache of mammoth proportions.

If Mr. McCain had remained on Silver State's board another four days, his position on the audit committee would have required him to sign off on the company's second-quarter financial statements.

In a statement, his father's presidential campaign said

"Silver State, like many regional banks, is struggling in the midst of very difficult economic conditions. Andy realized after joining the Silver State board in April that the bank needed directors who could devote a great deal of time and attention to guiding the bank through this challenging time."

Well if you are talking about here, I woudn't imagine many know who the keating five are. But Andrew McCain isn't a Senator.

That may well be the case but making it sound like fact wasn't my intention, I do however suffer from a lack of fact that being a Senator's son got him the appointments either.

So he got the job in February 2008 and left it 5 months later in July.... and this story 'breaks' two whole months later? Que ominious music.

The only thing really interesting about this is that Obamas very explicit and public call to leave candidates family members out of the scrap seems to be being ignored. Does no one listen to 'the One'? The voters may begin to wonder.
