    neocons blast palin pick

    the new republic says:
McCain undoubtedly thinks he has his national security bases covered; picking Palin shows that, unlike Obama, he doesn't need an eminence grise like Biden to add heft to his ticket. But surely McCain recognizes that Palin may have to fill his shoes someday. By choosing her anyway, he has demonstrated hubris well beyond anything Obama has displayed on his most arrogant day: a belief that he can master unforeseen circumstances, physical and otherwise, that are well beyond his control. This is insulting and dangerous and suggests that McCain may want to think twice before accusing Obama of putting his personal ambition ahead of the national interest.

But... but McCain and Palin are Republicans and all republicans are neocons, how could this be?!

In other words, she hasn't shown her love for the State of Israel enough yet.
Marxists, Feminists and Leftists operate on the basis of "liberating tolerance" - i.e. their ideas should be tolerated, and any opposition should be suppressed.

They do indeed, and they've been swarming around McCain tying to exert their influence on him but they don't seem to be sticking. It appears for the moment at least that the neocons are ************************************.

I find it odd that some Republicans are blasting Palin about experience when they backed Bush as prez with such a thin CV.

Obviously anything that upsets the Neocons has to be good.

A lot of them are still behind the times when it comes to female equality. They would probably have been happier if he had nominated Obama as vp.

That's what I like about Palin. She has 5 kids one who is handicapped. She does the cooking and cleaning for the family, runs 7/8 miles a day, runs the largest state in the US and still has a body women 1/2 her age would kill to have. Multi-tasking on a grand scale. She is feminine without being feminist. She should be the dream gal for the bible thumpers. I can't understand how any of the Republicans can have a problem wiht her. Did they seriously want another grey man?

A very stupid remark indeed. Perhaps if you left Ireland and travelled a bit (taking your aliases with you) you'd develop some feeling for the politics of other countries. Gazing at a computer screen does not teach you much about the real world.
