The second paragraph deals with Bush.

It is certainly a real thing , a few posters on here have it and it is particularly prevalent among media people.

I was neutral on Obama until he made a few decisions, I kept open mind and supported his handling of Bin Laden. TDS took hold from the moment he was elected and no credit was ever given for any decision.

Junker can turn up stone drunk for a NATO summit and no one take the slightest bit of notice.

Kruthhammer identified a similar condition with regard to Bush. The condition can apply to any President.

Maybe but we have to remember Krithammer was a neocon ghoul, and he was trying to paint those who were hysterical who rightfully hated Bush for the Iraq War.

I think the obvious example of 'Trump Derangement System' would be those liberals who boost anything a Bush or one of his flunkies say anything mildly critical of Trump even though the Bush administration was in many ways worse than the Trump administration (so far). Trump is worst in other ways in his xenophobia and the fact that he's obviously not lucid.

Do you see anything Trump did as credit worthy?

The syndrome exists for sure, and is acutely experienced by voters who became reasonably successful under Obama and started believing they were Big Swinging Dicks, but under President Trump are having to learn that they really don't amount to much at all, not in comparison to THE MAN. Trump is putting POWER back in the White House and causing all kinds of anguish for sufferers of TDS as he takes power away from them. There is only one known remedy for TDS: suck it up, suckers!

I would hope that his approachs towards NK will be successful, but the Anglo media is taking a very Trump centred view and is not given the SK president more credit than he's due. Apart from that no.

What about counselling? It works for post traumatic stress, bereavement etc. Then again there is one word in Trump's speeches which is the most threatening. "work"
