The Clinton Foundation has accepted tens of millions of dollars from countries that the State Department — before, during and after Mrs. Clinton’s time as secretary — criticized for their records on sex discrimination and other human-rights issues. The countries include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Brunei and Algeria.

Saudi Arabia has been a particularly generous benefactor. The kingdom gave between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation. (Donations are typically reported in broad ranges, not specific amounts.) At least $1 million more was donated by Friends of Saudi Arabia, which was co-founded by a Saudi prince.

But remember people, the problem is Russia.

Rolf Mowatt-Larssen has a distinguished career in the CIA's Directorate of Operations
    https://www.belfercenter.org/person/rolf-mowatt-larssen
Prior to this, he served for 23 years as a CIA intelligence officer in various domestic and international posts, to include Chief of the Europe Division in the Directorate of Operations, Chief of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Department, Counterterrorist Center, and Deputy Associate Director of Central Intelligence for Military Support.
He had this to say of the meeting:

Trump Jr.s Russia meeting sure sounds like a Russian intelligence operation
But everything we know about the meeting from whom it involved to how it was set up to how it unfolded is in line with what intelligence analysts would expect an overture in a Russian influence operation to look like. It bears all the hallmarks of a professionally planned, carefully orchestrated intelligence soft pitch designed to gauge receptivity, while leaving room for plausible deniability in case the approach is rejected. And the Trump campaign's willingness to take the meeting and, more important, its failure to report the episode to U.S. authorities may have been exactly the green light Russia was looking for to launch a more aggressive phase of intervention in the U.S. election.
See...Trump is CRAP at lying...crap at concentrating. The operational part of the deal was never going to be with him...

I feel like the Russians are leaking things.

Putin doesnt have much more to get out of Trump. This is the time to burn a few assets and let the legal process keep the USA all tied up.

But Daddy didn't know about the meeting ?

    https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/04/27/p...ort/index.html

There was some new information embedded in the documents. Aras Agalarov, the Russian oligarch who orchestrated the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting, sent Trump "an expensive painting for the candidate's birthday" one day after the meeting, the Democratic report states, citing an email from music promoter Rob Goldstone, who organized the Trump Tower meeting, to Trump's assistant Rhona Graff.

"There are few things better than receiving a sensational gift from someone you admire -- and that's what I've received from you," Trump responded to Agalarov a week later
Was Daddy Trump telling whoppers again ?

The fact that the Trumps attached such importance to the meeting is noteworthy, and Paul Manafort, with his GRU contacts, certainly should have been familiar with the former/Russian Intelligence officer Rinat Akhmetshin

Then of course in Summer 2017 Trump issued a false/misleading statement on the meeting...why the attempt at coverup ?

Some new info is just out on Natalia Veselnitskaya, showing that she was fully in cahoots with the Russian government on the Prevezon/Katsyv/Magnitsky/Browder case (as suspected)

More is due on her in coming days

Sure the Trumps got no goods from that specific meeting, but they showed their appetite, and were subsequently well tended to by the Russian government

The Guardian isnt either, I suppose?

They reported the Trump Tower meeting last year, as did the New York Times and the Washington Post.

    All inferior sources?

Where did I say that these were inferior? I merely pointed out that Wikipedia is not a reliable source - ask any College student doing projects or reports on attitudes to referencing using Wikipedia - it is not accepted. There is a reason for that.

I think Trump was too vain to notice anything, but he was being groomed big time.

Why was Manafort working on Trumps campaign for no fee.? He'd spent 10 years on dirty political campaigns in the Ukraine- knew the whole score.
