According to the Wall St Journal the allocation of delegates on a county by county basis in Texas will do nothing to help Clinton. Party rules award convention delegates based on how many votes a state Senate district gave to the Democratic candidates in the past two statewide elections. This would seem to favour Obama because Clinton's biggest support comes from areas that voted strongly in favour of Bush in 2004.

Alarmingly for Clinton not only is she now behind Obama 48-44 (rasmussen) but her 20 point lead in Pennsylvania has fallen to just 4%.
Ladies and Gentlemen she pulled it off with rhode island to boot.
