That's the side of the argument you joined in on though - not my fault.

(The "Orwellian linguistic gymnastics" were based on a direct quote from a US SC judgment justifying anti-miscegenation laws, using the same logic that was being used here to justify a ban on SSM - so unless you can point out a solid reason why the two are not at all comparable, anyone arguing in favour of one is effectively arguing in favour of both.)
