I think he would make a good president, but there is a long way to go.

What a magic night! Obama has pulled off some coup if this result of 37% to 30% for both Edwards and Clinton holds true. CNN reporting a huge turnout of young voters with 59% of them voting Obama. I've been blogging about Obama for three years and really think he's the deal. It'll become nasty from here on, but I think that Obama can breathe life into the Democrats and into US politics.

Keep an eye out for Samantha Power, who's book 'A Problem from Hell-America in the Age of Genocide', won the Pulitzer in 2003. She's Irish born and packed out St. Canice's Cathedral in Kilkenny in August with over 1,00 people enthralled by her. She's Obama's main advisor on foreign policy, and another Mary Robinson in the making.

Meanwhile roll on New Hampshire, and it's time the Niall O' Dowd's of this world realised that it's not only the Clintons can ne a positive force in Irish policy in the future.

'The Moment when it all began'- What an ass-kicking speech. Straight off he's playing for the New Hampshire vote. And now the ghosts of Selma and Montgomery. This is better than the wonderful Jesse Jackson convention speech-Kennedy standard stuff. Bring it on!!
