The recent Gallup poll of Dec 18th (the MRBI of the US - generally accepted as the best pollsters) has Clinton way ahead nationally here
Margin of error is 4% in that CNN poll - the sample is only 543.

Calm down, Obama is looking good. A straw candidate winning is better than even I could have hoped for.
Iowa population is only 2.9 mil so sample seems only marginally behind what we'd find in Ireland. The slightly smaller sample is made up for by the higher margin of errorOriginally Posted by stretchneil

The man is genuinely the best chance America has to put the last decade and a half of partisan fury behind them. Like a black Kennedy![]()
I heard his interview on Meet the Press a few weeks back and he seems to have a very good grasp on the major issues affecting America, Iraq included -which mercifully he's not going to abandon if he becomes president.

And that's not a slightly smaller sample - it's about half the size of a statistically reasonable sample. Big big error margin to be afraid of here.Originally Posted by stretchneil
