That makes sense, Astral, especially having now seen the actual PM. I used to post on another board where the modding was very strict, and you would often get modded for stuff that seemed perfectly innocuous, along with a mail saying you could be banned if necessary. But only the real trolls and butters generally got anywhere near a ban. I once got put in premod for a week, for accidentally getting into a spat, but everyone involved got done, so fair play really. I learnt my lesson.
Completely off-topic, so apols, and back to double standards. (So maybe not that far off-topic after all...)
I don't care whether it was personal or not. Clearly it couldn't be as I have no history with Sync. It's the fact that it was based on a value judgement on the content of my OP rather than any rules.
Sync's post while closing the thread was:
"Or we can close it. Don't use actors twitter messages to open health threads thanks."
You're behaving like someone on the Autism spectrum. It's kind of fascinating.
Instead of waffling, your opinion would have some credibility if you highlighted the attempts by that other poster when he attempts
to parse the posted words of other P.ie members who's views he happens to disagree with across numerous threads.
I don't spend the day poring over the internet for propaganda that suits my prejudices, but this is the first I've seen of it.
It borders on the hysterical. Amusing to see the usual wasps around the jam.
A body that views itself as the supreme representative body of 'god' who for a millenia dictated down the very last detail how people should live their lifes and claims to be a 'moral guardian' gets caught not practicing what they preach and you're rather poorly trying to wave it away as a non-story on a forum where if the party concerned wasn't the Catholic church would be putting the booth in yourself.
