Talk about dressing for the occasion.
What's going on with the US Ambassador in this picture?
Too much of that "casual look" from the Technical Group rubbing off on him?
Maybe this doesn't belong in the US Politics area, but where else to put it?

Ugh, if you're going to photoshop have the decency to do a better job.
It's real apparently, Eyelight just hasn't managed to figure out the entire "Link to what I'm talking about" thing yet. The internet is new, it's not reasonable to expect people to know how to "copy" and "paste" things.

Eyelight's reading skills also seem impaired. If he'd read the article he'd see the answer was that the guy decided to open his residence to the public so they could have a relaxing 4th of July. The guy's old and is wearing shirt, trousers and braces. This appears to be hilarious to Eyelight. So his reward for not being stuffy and closed off from the public is to be mocked for being old.
Who in Deity's Name wear a suit jacket on the 4th of July? It's a national holiday for heaven's sake. Jebus, but this OP is inane:
The caption reads:
US President Barack Obama, with First Lady Michelle Obama delivers remarks to an Independence Day picinic on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC on July 4, 2012. On this Independence Day President Obama is hosting a 4th of July celebration picnic on the South Lawn for White House staff and US service members. UPI/Shawn Thew/Pool
And, here, Dubya before him, sporting the sporty sleeves rolled up look:
