There is a photo floating around of a warehouse in Iraq in 2004/2005 that was stuffed with pallets of american dollars. I think the figure was 180-190 billion. It was guarded by American special forces soldiers and i read an interview some time back with one of them where he claimed it was used to pay off insurgents and anyone who opposed the presence of Americans.

Must dig the photo and interview up.

Paul Craig Roberts, the Economist who wrote this article, is an American.

And he was Ass't Secretary of Treasury for President Reagan.

Warren Nutter is also an American who was Ass't Secretary of Defense for President Nixon.

Both Nutter & Roberts are good clean conservative Republicans....accent on the words good & clean here.

And like all decent God fearing Americans...they hate the sins of America...all the while loving America.

Which is in the traditon of Jesus of Nazerath who said: "Hate the sin, love the sinner."

So this criticism of America ain't anti-American...it's pro-Christian...ya damn pagan!

That would be all well and good but for the history in error. The South Vietnamese were fighting their own before us. The fellow also rather misstates the Russian circumstance. Cross ref that misstatement(s) with his deception is not democratic. Putin is ex-KGB (after recall from Dresden in East Germany follow collapse of East Germany, he took up spying on students at the University of Leningrad). Virtually the entire top level Russian officials are former KGB. His opponent is not funded by America but through his own efforts in Russia. I wouldn't otherwise call folks who write off the entire Russian political opposition as "puppets" as "good clean conservative Republicans". I'd call them fools, and I'm being generous. The one soul otherwise has an unfortunate name, Nutter, since you call literally him a nutter without doing violence to his name. As regards the other loon, he's just that, a loon. He too is a frequent contributor to that wingnut for a site/rag, Global Research. Two of his pieces there:

Here's his piece on the US Republican Party:

Condoning Torture: Republican Party is a Gestapo Party

Preceded that with this "fine" piece:

And for more of oh so patent lunacy:

The Suicide of Liberty: The Transformation of the US into a Police State

Sorry, wasn't aware that I live in a police state.

And Strauss-Kahn was "framed" doncha know:

    Back to patent lunacy:

The Perfidy of Government:: How we Lost our Economy, the Constitution and our Civil Liberties

'Western Civilization Has Shed Its Values'

    America’s Devolution Into Dictatorship

It Is Official: The US Is A Police State

    The Collapse of Western Morality

Death of the First Amendment: The "Nazification" of the United States

    Need I go on?

I will. This title well and truly takes the proverbial cake:

Now you know why I don't read that trash site, don't read the trash Counterpunch either, and so on.

That would be all well and good but for the history in error. The South Vietnamese were fighting their own before us.
The South Vietnamese were no different than the Vichy French…colonial puppets created by foreigners:

The State of Vietnam was created through co-operation between anti-communist Vietnamese and the French government on June 14, 1949. Former emperor Bảo Đại accepted the position of chief of state (quoc truong). This was known as the "Bảo Đại Solution." The colonial struggle in Vietnam became part of the global Cold War in October 1949 when a victorious Chinese communist army arrived on Vietnam's northern border. In 1950, China, the Soviet Union and other communist nations recognized the DRV while the United States and other non-communist states recognized the Bảo Đại government.

The fellow also rather misstates the Russian circumstance. Cross ref that misstatement(s) with his deception is not democratic.
When trying to make a point you should strive for relevancy.

Putin is ex-KGB (after recall from Dresden in East Germany follow collapse of East Germany, he took up spying on students at the University of Leningrad).
George H.W. Bush was ex-CIA and even Director of the CIA before becoming VP under Reagan then President in his own right. He was actively involved in the Bay of Pigs fiasco (his company Zapata Oil [which later morphed into Pennzoil] owned both troop ships the Barbara and the Dorothy that he named after his wife and his mother). And God knows what else he may have been involved in regarding the many mass-murdering CIA campaigns in Latin America which were run out of the CIA’s Miami Office which he headed for a time.

Virtually the entire top level Russian officials are former KGB.
Even if so, so what? What does this have to do with this thread? The US government is also populated with ex-CIA and ex-Miltarists both Democrat and Republican. But at least Russia gave up its old Soviet empire.

His opponent is not funded by America but through his own efforts in Russia.
Well holy National Endowment for Democracy, Batman!

Trojan Horse: The National Endowment for Democracy ::: International Endowment for Democracy

I wouldn't otherwise call folks who write off the entire Russian political opposition as "puppets" as "good clean conservative Republicans".
Err…like George Washington before them they’re opposed to the US as an empire.

I'd call them fools, and I'm being generous.
Why? Because they recognize their government’s skullduggery when they see it abroad?

The one soul otherwise has an unfortunate name, Nutter, since you call literally him a nutter without doing violence to his name.
    Says Yobosayo! LMAO!

As regards the other loon, he's just that, a loon.
Says the guy who likely masturbates to John Wayne movies.

    Thanks for mentioning this site!
