You'l only know until we meet again in another thread chap. However the posts you have made are true and backed up factually, this to me is what makes a good and strong argument anywhere and in any topic. I'd also like to add that Democracy was the school of progressive political thought - Certainly without the United States of America pushing it in every direction it would have taken longer, but forms of government such as socialism and semi-democratic movements were on the rise anyway. The US merely served as a catalyst - I for one believe our world would be better if we were all communist, but that's a debate, for another time.

Thumbs up for making your opinion clarified and heard, I know that labels have often more power than the truth itself, so enlightening those who care about your beliefs is quiet important and I praise you on doing so openly. Hope to see some more of your interesting posts/threads around and perhaps we can meet some day on the battlefield of the political forum!

Another one you might be interested in regarding American foreign policy: Ron Paul listens to the enemy - therefore, is a kook, according to Republicans

It doesn't really concentrate at all on Ron Paul, but defends his foreign policy. Mainly to do with 9/11 and American foreign policy in the region and why they hate us. Wouldn't mind getting O'Sullivan's feedback on it if he sees this post as well. It is another example of why I am anti-American, but I am not even condoning the policies of the Americans in that thread, just the reasons America gave for why they were attacked and what Bin Laden himself actually wanted and how he planned to destroy America.

When you drop the hammer and sickle and throw away The Communist Manifesto, I am ready to go! The sad thing is though, some have hinted at me being left wing and when they say that, generally it means socialist/communist when my own personal views are totally opposite to communism, although I appreciate and would probably class Marx as one of my favorite philosophers.

If being against giving children syphilis for medical purposes, letting American corporations give HIV contaminated products to sick people in Europe and sterilizing over 60,000 people(Buck V Bell) makes me a left wing, fanatical communist, then: "Working men of all countries, Unite!"
"You're in the Oval Office and Raul Castro calls. What would be your response, Congressman Paul?" "Well, I'd probably ask him what he wants."

Now if we were having a debate about linguistics that would be another matter, Chomsky has serious credibility in that area.
Ah yes, linking to youtube videos has become a joke at this stage. Indeed. That's exactly what I have done in this thread. You didn't get my point because you're too busy trying to act smart.

You threw out links and because of your hectic social life are unable to back up the links. Fair enough. I merely said if I posted a Chomsky video, does that mean my point is better than yours? Are you going to go through the two hour lecture by Chomsky about American imperialism and tell me every single point that is wrong?

No where did I say youtube was as good as anything, that is you again, trying to be smart. When you're not busy pulling women or fighting crime, perhaps you should come back to the thread and defend the founding fathers yourself instead of throwing out links. I find it wholly comical that someone pretending to be smart by dismissing youtube videos has not said anything relevant, at all. Yet, has the nerve to come on here, dismiss a whole thread and tell me that youtube links are not credible when you haven't even seen the link. To even question Chomsky's integrity(I disagree with him on many things) is quite ridiculous. It's like me saying Thomas Paine was an idiot because he was self educated. Only people in college or with degrees no what they are talking about on a subject. Now, if you want the link to youtube, I will be happy to link it. If not, please don't reply by posting links without telling me what is in them.

    Amazing.

But they were not perfect and did not create Utopia. Neither has anyone else. Live with it.

I am desperately looking around for some country that is entitled to fire the first stone, but I can't think of one.

I didn't. I pointed out the hypocrisies of the founders and the crime of slavery. I pointed out their imperialist ambitions. I pointed out that America was founded as an empire and continues right up until today to follow the founders message.

You have just pointed out the founding fathers and left the rest of the OP. The current affairs and history after WW2 are related as I explained in the OP with very striking and palpable references and quotes.

You have often applauded Ron Paul's foreign policy so I take it you're in agreement with my analysis of American policy after WW2 or at least some of it.

And as I told, O'Sullivan, I have left out a great deal of their crimes and Reagan's, Carter's, etc. I have also left out eugenics in America which might make David Duke raise an eyebrow or two.

All of those things they gleaned from the French Revolution by going over and meeting with the revolutionaires.
In fact, i have read that Jefferson was actually a bit conservative and afraid of the liberalness of the FR.

In fact Jefferson was a big enthusiast for the French Revolution (and an advocate for and an apologist for all things French)...even to the degree of playing down the Terror,to the disgust of more conservativne coleagues like John Adams.

how fortunate that he was - the Americans managed to avoid the descent into (virtual) fascism the FR brought.

It wasn't just the progressives, Tim. If I remember, I think you "respectfully disagreed" with my Fascism - a left idea thread and I already went over a lot of the eugenics in America.

Modern day Eugenics or just crimes for profit, would be the U.S government allowing HIV contaminated products to be shipped into Europe infecting thousands of innocent people.

_ This is not origional but rings true, its from Automaticearth's website.

“the modern world essentially requires one to live immorally. There is no doubt that a society that enslaves, tortures, and kills people and abuses the lands and waters needed for the survival of our species and others is immoral, yet these actions are produced with stunning efficiency by the world’s industrial economy, as epitomized by American empire. Most people know that Big Energy poisons our water, Big Ag controls our food supply, Big Pharma controls the behavior of our children, Wall Street controls the flow of money, Big Ad controls the messages we receive every day, and the criminally rich get richer through exploitation of an immoral system. This is how America works. And, through it all, we think we live moral lives in the land of the free.”

It should be clear that the industrial economy is making us sick, mentally and physically, and also greatly reducing habitat for our species on Earth. As a result, I’m a big fan of terminating this set of living arrangements — that is, I’m a fan of terminating industrialized civilization — and replacing it with a more sane and durable set of living arrangements."
Where there is brass there is poverty near by. We are getting nearer to a dictatorship where your purpose is to slave, live in debt, ratify agreements and consume rubbish.
