The Palinosaur is back and eyeing up 2012

American politics dropped about 50 IQ points overnight with the announcement by Sarah Palin that she's interested in 2012

Sarah Palin has her sights on the White House not Tea Party movement - Times Online
Sarah Palin has given the clearest indication yet that her ambition is to become President of the United States, rather than merely the leader of the radical grassroots Tea Party movement that adores her.

The day after her return to national politics with a barnstorming attack on President Obama in a speech in Nashville, Mrs Palin was shown a poll yesterday ranking her the top Republican candidate for 2012 and asked if she would run.

“I would,” she said without hesitation. “I would, if I believed that that was the right thing to do for my country and for my family.”
So will this be some light entertainment... or does she again represent a serious threat to human civilization ?

She might represent a threat to the Republicans as her brand of religious conservatism could well lead to a split within the party

    Reading Palin’s Palm

Ask conservatives why they love Sarah Palin so and they’ll often say it’s because she’s so “authentic.”

So will her crib sheet make her less so in their eyes?

Photos posted to blogs after Ms. Palin’s speech to the National Tea Party Convention Saturday night captured several words scribbled seventh-grade-style on her left palm: “energy” “tax cuts” (with “budget” in front of cuts crossed out) and “lift American spirits.”

Ms. Palin read from a prepared speech, so it appeared that the notes scribbled on her hand were in preparation for the 15-minute question and answer session she did afterward with Judson Phillips, the founder of Tea Party Nation, the social networking site that organized the convention. Pictures and video captured her glancing at her palm while she answered the questions.

Here's the stats she's happy about:

Daily Kos :: State of the Nation
    Palin 16%
    Romney 11%
    Cheney 10%
    Gingrich 7%
    Huckabee 7%
    Pawlenty 3%
    Paul 2%
    Thune 2%
    Undecided 42%

The Daily Kos Republican Poll was conducted by Research 2000 from January 20 through January 31, 2010. A total of 2003 self identified Republicans were interviewed by telephone.
    Here's the original story:
FOXNews.com - Palin 'Would Be Willing' to Take On Obama in 2012

    So will we see :

Why and how was Sarah Palin really chosen as a vice presidential candidate?

It cant have been on the basis of her charm, charisma, intellectual prowess or political understanding\knowledge. She is not an effective public speaker and she isnt particularly accomplished or experienced on the public stage. Now we can't be expected to believe that this is the best that the U.S political system has to offer.

    So what's left?

Pro- Abortion extremist Obama's approval rating has dropped to 44% in the latest poll. This guy is a threat to human civilization. In 2009 the Obama administration spent 1 billion dollars of taxpayers money on the promotion of abortion. Looks like Mr teleprompter is in serious trouble.
