The second coming has proven to be something of a let down alright. I just dont get why there was so much adulation heaped upon this guy at the time of his election. People were always going to see through the BS after a certain amount of time. He has the lowest approval ratings ever after one year of presidency. Quite simply, he's another George Bush.

Sarah Palin Aims to Bust Up the Republican Party -- And the Tea Party Movement

The strategy she may use to clear her path to the presidency. That path-clearing seems to involve the sowing of discord, not just within the Republican Party, but within the Tea Party movment as well, along with a sprinkle of discord dust on the Democratic Party for good measure

I agree. He's a phoney. This guy should never have been elected as president. People allowed themselves to be suckered by his speechwriters rather than concentrating on his accomplishments.

He's lied consistently and has backtracked on several key promises. Nothing new there I suppose but several issues stand out. Guantanamo and Iraq key among them.

She's unelectable, so it's all moot. Still, she's fun to laugh at. So let's.

At last weekend's Tea Party convention she called Obama that “charismatic guy with a teleprompter”. In fact, here she is giving that very speech:

Hang on a moment! What's with her left hand? Let's have a closer look:

And yes, that third one says "Lift American spirits". You couldn't make it up and luckily you don't have to.

Meanwhile, a week earlier, here is the full 1 hour 18 minute Q&A that Obama did at the Republican House convention in Baltimore. Off the cuff, in total command of the issues, taking spontaneous questions, making his arguments. And this stupid sow has the temerity to regurgitate the "teleprompter" talking point? Pathetic.

The real joke is if you think there is a genuine difference between those two parties.

Excellent post, H.R. There may be a need in this election year to look for this sort of Republican Party crap. Especially since the Republican Party has it own repugnant fan-base on this site. Since DC has allowed almost daily pro-Republican Party trolling on this site, I would hope that he would also allow contributions where posters can nail Republican Party lies, propaganda and hypocrisy.

Palin has endorsed Ron Paul's son Rand for the Kentucky senate seat so it will be interesting when Palin and Paul are campaigning in 2011 for the soul of the tea party movement..

So far the Neo-Cons are trying their best to hijack a movement started by supporters of Ron Paul

Should be an interesting battle...Fox News no doubt will shove Palin down te throats of their viewers which will inevitebly lead to another 4 years of Barry

Will anti-war Democrats betrayed by Obama switch party to vote for a real Anti-war candidate?

For some uncanny reason, Palin reminds me of the late Jade Goody.

How comfortable would anyone have felt with Jade having her finger on a nuclear trigger?

Slightly more comfortable than with the idea of this woman's finger on the nuclear trigger.
