Jasus I must reconnect with the many teaparty friends of mine, they might be able to invest in many of my projects. They must be hiding their wealth since they live in regular modest houses.

Health bill = 16500 new jobs

Just hearing that the bill will create at least 16,500 new jobs! In the Inland Revenue Service!!!!!! All necessary to enforce the new taxes and penalties!

We are doing readers in Ireland a disservice by not explaining this bill but who could be bothered.

Dave should put up a poll asking people when the effects of this emergency bill kicks in.

I will tell them when the taxes kick in, immediately.

All those sick kids that everyone is crying about will have to wait till 2013.

A lot of guyswill have spat on the guy sitting in the street if he intends to squat there for another 40 months. I hope Al Gore buys him an icecream if the sea level rises and drowns him.

I think the Tea Party movement, is using peoples ignorance to get them to march behind slogans. Very reminiscent of pre Nazi Germany. Did you see them on the RTE news? Charlie Bird asked how many thought Obama was not American, seems most put their hands up.
A Parkinsons sufferer sat in front of some of them in counter-protest, just watch and tell me these are reasonable people.

I would be delighted to find out that this video is fake, but if it's not then this movement is very worrying.

Oddly enough, I have a strange notion that the arguments of flakes, malcontents, conspiracy theorists, homophobes, racists, extremists, religious nutcases and rabble rousers are most likely of limited value

There are also plenty of democrats. Did you not notice what happened in Massachusetts. Hardly a hotbed of racists to say the least.Regular people are angry and roll on November
Well, then I expect we will be hearing from the "regular people" dissociating themselves from the racists, homophobes etc in due course.

What do we hear spat out when the tea-baggers congregate? 'n1gger'.....'faggot'....'communist'...'socialist' ..'you hate america' the same old rabble-rousing poison. They are trying to represent themselves as regular people irate at taxes, the bail out etc etc, somehow above politics,...the usual, but the mask is slipping to reveal the usual extreme, rabble-rousing,gun-loving, anti-science,wrap-the flag-around-me, religious fixated,right-wing extremism. The same old acid packaged in new bottles.

I was wondering the same myself, the tea party so seem to be the warm apple american pie soccer mom face of the KKK. Its funny that the only tax they seem to care about paying is for healthcare for those who canlt afford it due to unemplyment etc. and all the other taxes are ok apparently. That says an awful lot. Tea Party? The good old white supremicists who raged a genocidal war against native amercians and basically went on to basically invent apartheid through the reservation system? That Tea Party?Twisted people. I would love to hear them explain why its ok to pay taxes for huge sums of money for 'defence' (aka sponsoring the sick arms industry) and pocket money for Israel's 'defence' and all thise worthy causes. I guess they just lurve them hot apple pies and guns. Twisted. Or maybe perhaps just as plain ignorant as the last republican vice pres candidate. Or both.
