Will the House Impeach Obama

The US is becoming paralysed, many people are becoming radicalised against the Federal government with the emergence of the Tea Party movement and other fringe groups.

I was in Normandy last September, doing a tour of D-Day sites. There was a middle-aged American woman from one of the "flyover states" on the tour, and in the minibus she was telling the other guests (a combination of Brits, Aussies and myself) how Barack Obama was having her and her friends' tea-parties spied on.

The carefully concealed smirks from the rest of us were quite a sight.

Why on earth should Obama be impeached? He's doing his job. He hasn't acted contrary to the laws of the country. It's nonsense to suggest it.

Why don't you read the Washington Times article and you will find out.

Why don't you read the Washington Times article and you will find out.

Both you, and the author of the article you are posting, sound like historians making counterfactual arguments about what would have happened if Rome hadn't fallen to the barbarians, if Napoleon had not invaded Russia, if Watergate hadn't happened.

It's mildly entertaining, but it's not going to happen. People should deal in truths and facts not speculative and dubious rabble-rousing. There is no indication that Obama would do such a thing - just hysteria from those extreme neo-cons who will always cry wolf and who have the ear of certain media outlets.

It seems certain figures are out to demonise Obama - I've never seen such bitter, twisted attacks on a US President. Even against 'Shrub'. It's insane and it bears no reflection on reality.

My prediction is Obama will not have the votes Sunday inspite of having a majority of about 80 in the House.

He will surely try to DEEM the bill passed

I have been proven correct on this issue.

The democrats realise that impeachment would go ahead. They have dropped the plan of deeming the bill passed without a vote.
