If the bill is DEEMED then the No voters will be hard pressed to explain why Obama should not be impeached. It would be an excellent way to get rid of a lot of republicans.

The majority would be caught by the balls entirely.

If it is deemed, the mood wil be nasty. But now the ire will be aimed at reublicans.

Actually, if you had heard Steve Lynch on the radio today giving the reason why he was changing to NO then you would apologise to Cassandra.

Lynch has changed to NO because he believes that the insurance companies will reap billions of dollars if the bill goes through.

So Congressman Steve Lynch agrees with Cassandra even if you don't.

the health care bill will pass, i have absloutely no doubt in my mind at all. this is an imperfect bill, but it will give 32 million americans insurance, it will stop insurance companies from picking and choosing who they insure, and very importantly it will cut the deficit by $130 billion in the first decade, and by $1.2 trillion in the following decade, according to the congressional budget office, which is a bipartisan organisation. The same republicans who are lambasting the report's findings on the healthcare bill as it now stands, greedily accepted its report into the old version of the healthcare bill. their hypocrisy is awful and when the bill passes, i want to see them squirm and cower as america becomes a healthier and a fairer country. obama will suceed on healthcare and he will suceed on his agenda, and to all the right-wingers on this website who peddle the lies and deceit of the republicans, this success will hopefully make you come over to the good side. Obama will be relected in 2012, mark my words.

On the other hand, when the Bill passes.....
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

The question is simple. Will the House impeach Obama.

What will the Senate do. It is possible that 48 senate seats will be on the ballot in November.

The Washington Times thinks so anyway

The Washington Times doesn't think so - it is only an opinion piece - not the editorial

Also the opinion piece doesn't predict impeachment - it calls for it... two very different things:
It would open Mr. Obama, as well as key congressional leaders such as Mrs. Pelosi, to impeachment. The Slaughter Solution would replace the rule of law with arbitrary one-party rule. It violates the entire basis of our constitutional government - meeting the threshold of "high crimes and misdemeanors." If it's enacted, Republicans should campaign for the November elections not only on repealing Obamacare, but on removing Mr. Obama and his gang of leftist thugs from office.

A brief run through the US constitution should be enough to show the above is less than clear about it and perhaps a little disturbed. Oh I can't be bothered to run over to my bookcase but seem to remember only one third of the senate being elected in each election year and that the rules for impeaching a president are for high crimes and so on. Not losing a vote then, which he probably won't. But keep up the hill billy stuff. That and a Palin run in 2012 + a few mad tea party people should give Obama enough time to try and fix some of the damage the Republican Oligarchs did over the last thirty years.

The Illinois one or the Federal one? He said he has no problem with the latter but that the former went further, lacking a neutrality cause on the issue of abortion. I for one disagree with his stance on abortion, but that doesn't make him a supporter of post-birth infanticide (particularly when doctors are already legally compelled to protect the lives of children born alive).

But back to you. What exactly is it about the Lord of the Flies that made it such an attractive template for you?...

If the bill passes then the Washington Times article will be redundant because the bill will not need to be deemed. Then there is no basis for impeachment.

Did you even read the article before you started parroting.
