no freedom and truth. I believe that both sides should be thought in schools including the left version. If these conservatives were smart that's how they should have went about it.

Why does there have to be a "left version" and a "right version" why cant the facts just be taught and then allow the children to form their own adult political ideology, putting 2 different spins on history is not required.

It shouldn't surprise me, I know, but these nutjobs' continuing fear of learning and knowledge and general mistrust of education never fails to astound me. It always made me laugh when one of the insults they threw at Obama during the campaign (and still do) was that he was 'professorial'....like a well educated, intelligent, thinking President is a bad thing!

But, I suppose, denying their 'sheeple' a proper education is how they keep finding teenagers to join the US army and idiots to buy Sarah Palin books.

Hitler's administration also burnt books and not just the ones from school libraries but from everywhere shops and homes.

The American politicians are just introducing some new books and weighing their content a bit, this is something that everybody everywhere does. The old books will still remain in the school libraries unedited for anybody to read that wants to. It is just that these old books will not be part of the specific curriculum any longer and their reading no longer be mandatory by the pupils. Besides nothing in the new books will change anything on the internet or in books in other countries that can be bought over the internet.

Your abuse of Godwins Law and associating Germany's 1945 with Iraq clearly demonstrates that you an extreme anti-western leftwing nutcase.

ok, so they're going to introduce some new books, to replace the old ones in the curriculum. The new ones show republican politics "in a more positive light". But the old books can still be found if students wish. That's still revisionism.

I'm not associating the two wars I am comparing the way Hitler's propoganda campaign has been replicated by the British and American administrations. I am not anti western, I myself am from "the west" I just don't believe that the US or the UK had honest intentions when going to war in Iraq, I don't believe the WMD's in question ever existed.
