Have you noticed that "Loony Bins" are now called "Mental Health Institutions".

    It's madness gone politically correct!

As someone who has a son with Down Syndrome I don't get offended by that type of language. What does annoy me is, people geting annoyed on my behalf, about things that they think that I should be annoyed about...........like the use of language. I would be much happier if more funding went into helping with the services that are needed, rather than silly campagines like this. Actually this camapgine is retarded.........THERE

What "R" word? Or more correctly, which "R" word?
    Right?
    Rip?
    Redact?
    Release?
    Retain?
    Retina?
    Rod?
    Restaurant?
    Rest-room?
    Rely?

So many words which start with "R", which to choose.

I thought the R word was ''recession'' at first.

In any case its a load of codswallop to ban a word . It will only make sincere people feel guilty by their own usage of legitimate words while the sociopaths just don't give a monkeys anyway and will find some other word or continue to use it anyway. Any word said in an appropriately jeering tone of voice can become the next word getting the same treatment.
