Debra Medina, a 47-year-old registered nurse who owns a medical consulting and billing service, is a political neophyte with less than a million dollars for a war chest, who has dared challenge Gov. Rick Perry the longest-serving governor in the state’s history (two terms, going for an unprecedented third), and three-term U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison in the Republican gubernatorial primary on March 2.
"Think about it," Medina’s campaign staff declared in a media release. "A nurse, mom and small-business owner from little ole Wharton, Texas, taking up a political battle against a senior Senator and sitting Governor with all of their millions of dollars. A David up against two Goliaths – and we remember how that story turned out, right?"

There is only a few days left. I expect plenty of vote fraud. There is an electorate of 136000 subject to a handcount. The rest , about 13 million are machine of various sorts.
There will be a good measurement of Patriot strenght. Whether Madina can beat KBH for a playoff remains to be seen.
There is a sore loser law in Texas so if she is beaten she can not run as an independent.
Her only option would be to try for a House seat
Before anyone cheers for Medina, note that she has recanted her 9/11 truth support.
She supports the view now that truthers are "despicable".
So just like Ron Paul in the '08 election, she denied 9/11 the truth when going got tough.
I haven't seen her speak but she is weak. And while I like Ron Paul he doesn't have the ability to be forceful and convincing in the heat of battle.

You have the bilderberger Perry talking about secession as well. Medina screwed up going on Becks show. The time to be a truther is after getting elected ,not before.
The only one who can be a truther before being elected that I have seen is Jesse Ventura.
This is the next generation of Ron Paul with that problem you mentioned ironed out
