ACORN Exposed-Assisting Prostitution And Human Sex Trafficking

NOTE: Acorn is the org that helped get Obama elected and he is giving them millions in public money.

Two more ACORN officials were fired Friday after a second video surfaced showing staffers in the community organizers' Washington office offering to help a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute acquire illegal home loans that would help them set up a brothel.

The firings came less than 24 hours after another pair of ACORN officials from the group's Baltimore office were canned for instructing the "pimp" and "prostitute" how to falsify tax forms and seek illegal benefits for 13 "very young" girls from El Salvador that pair said they wanted to import to work as child prostitutes.

Both of the encounters were videotaped on a hidden camera wielded by 25-year-old independent filmmaker James O'Keefe, posing as the pimp — tapes that have ignited calls for investigations of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

The United States Census Director has sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that it will no longer help work on the 2010 census.

Acorn got 3.5 billion from the stimulus. That what pays a lot of the dimwits on chat sites. Perhaps 2 are here.

These people should be charged with conspiracy to commit numerous fenonies from tax evasion to abetings child prostitution.

However the DA is instead looking to charge the 2 undercover with wiretapping which carries 5 years

    What!!!! That is utterly ridiculous.

If this is the standard of conduct general in Acorn it should be wound up. It is abvious that these two not only have no moral compass but are content to aid people who would debase the generally accepted standards of a civilised society. They are giving advise to people who for all they know are involved in child prostitution. Are they base or stupid or both?

Acorn is a big organisation. That would be like saying close down FAS because one scheme was mismanaged.

On the other hand, Acorn itself is a very iffy set up. It has the look of an FBI sponsored programme and engages is deliberately provocative bussing around of community members to phony "community demonstrations". That would explain why the lads are being let off.

You can bet your bottom dollar that Acorn accumulates huge amounts of data on working class people.

It follows a model of community manipulation developed by Saul Alinsky, who both Obama and Hilary Clinton seem to have admired. Alinsky, amongst other activities, advised the Vatican on how to combat communism by setting up community organisations.

Even allowing for ropey editing (and the clip above has been tweaked a bit) diminishing the impact, the workers caught in this sting were spectacularly stupid and amoral. That's assuming they weren't simply gaining their trust in order to report this pair to the authorities (given nobody has claimed it, this is unlikely, but it's what I'd consider doing!). They had to go. In fact, anyone dopey enough to not have copped the sting has no place as a community organiser.

So this is fair game for discussion? really? Are you telling me if I can find one of these right wing loony organizations (or congressman, these days) saying, doing something absurd, or outright stupid, or nasty, that it's fair game?

There's a tape somewhere of a congressman saying god bless you to a man who claimed to be a 'right wing terrorist'. Should I dig that up? There're lots of gems out there, but since I thought people preferred to discuss policy rather than fringe elements, I've tried to avoid that kind of pettiness.

let me know.. I can google Michelle Bachman on youtube at a moment's notice, and she'd keep me busy posting for days AND she's elected.. don't even get me started on the crazies who are funding this crap..
But the bravest fell, and the requiem bell rang mournfully and clear
for those that died that Eastertide in the springing of the year.

I've read a lot of replies like that to criticism of Obama and anything and everything he's linked to.

Of course its fair game for discussion. I don't see anyone here directly blaming Obama for what happened. Acorn and the way its run does tell us a bit about Obama, as it is part of a model of "community organisation" that he has worked with for decades.

What's so wrong with discussing that, that we get Michelle Bachman thrown at us ?
