So if we can't have a peaceful change to fascism we'll have a violent one? Good man.

I was looking forward to seeing him and the BNP exposed for what they are, I was looking forward to seeing the sheeps clothing whipped off him but that won't happen now thanks to the "anti-fascist left".

it doesnt serve the BNP at all . We arent afraid to let him speak , we just find his nazi shyte extremely offensive . The BNP wont be getting elected in Dublin because of this , they havent been served or helped in any manner at all . Just told to eff off and not to come back.
He wont be able to run about england telling people about his rounds of applause in Dublin .

What difference does it make to the Irish left that Griffin wasn't allowed to speak? His Irish admirers are few and far between (have a look at the DRM 'split' for a good indication of how rubbish the far-right are here) and there's no reason given for the canceliing- I'd say it was the pompous eejits from UCC DebSoc who had an epiphany about the man they were inviting to speak (perhaps they found some of his old pamphlets like 'Who are the Mindbenders' online, or just heard that he named his two pet dogs 'Anne' and 'Frank').

Yeah I really wanted him to come to UCC as well, was actually going to attend and had a speech ready to refute him.

Obviously serves the BNP, feeds directly into their narrative that they are being denied basic democratic freedoms because the powers that be are afraid of their message.

I approve of the BNP's crime policy:

"The BNP advocates capital punishment for "drug dealers, child murderers, multiple murderers, murderers of policemen on duty and terrorists where guilt is proven beyond all doubt"

Other key BNP policies on crime include:

The BNP will abolish political correctness from the police service in favour of real crime fighting.
The BNP will establish a penal station for hardened and repeat criminals on the British island of South Georgia.
The BNP will reintroduce the right of householders to defend themselves and their property using whatever means they deem necessary."

There are no left-wing solutions to criminal activity.
