How and ever, people wearing burqas need to understand that in western society, showing one's face is an important part of societal interaction - not just with regard to security and personal identification - and they should be legally required to comply in such circumstances. We've all seen the signs asking motor cycle couriers to remove their helmets on entering some premises.
Easy no outward manifestations of religious adherence to be worn in public. For religious leaders a license must be applied for.

The people wearing burkas already understand that showing the face is part of western culture.

They do look ludicrous... and of course BoJo will use any target to further his own aims/ambitions which most people would be aware of...

Except they don't have a choice to wear what they want it is forced upon them in most situations. Your comments about Johnston are well OTT.

Is there not a ban in parts of the EU? I agree it would not be easy to police.

Denmark are enforcing the ban and have already fined a woman for wearing the binbag in public. This is a long overdue policy change and it should be a firm message to these people that assimilate into our society or go back to your religious homeland.
