What game? They have not one clue. She weighed in to smack down Rees Mogg, who was the latest whack a mole. No time to even think if that would alienate the DUP. Frankly, it wouldnt matter anyway, because the DUP are clinging to her skirts, with no idea what to do if she cut them loose.

Brexit, The North and a Border Poll

Ok, so there are lots of threads on Brexit, but I feel that this deserves a thread of it's own as this is now a consequence of Brexit, not about Brexit, but if you (mods) disgree, please feel free to merge.

So May doubts that the Unionists would win a Border Poll:

    https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/n...-36908576.html

"Theresa May 'not confident' unionists would win Irish border poll - reports
May 'not prepared to risk' breaking up union over Brexit"

(hat tip to "Strawberry" for originally linking to that story)

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the argument from London always been that they're in the North cos the majority of people in the North want them to be there? So, by saying that shes not confident May is for the first time in the history of the UK saying that the PM feels that they no longer have that majority.

This is huge, in my humble opinion and it would seem to me that the only rational reply to this is "OK, well let's see" and have a Border Poll.
So, is it time to have a Border Poll? If the PM feels that the Unionists would not carry it, then let's find out.

They are incapable of honouring any deal. It's not in their DNA. They are the collective human embodiment of the scorpion in the fable of the scorpion and the frog.

    Lady,
Her incompetence is truly unbelievable, what PM would call an election with a working majority and come back afterwards depending on the crackpot bigots in the DUP to keep her job............crazy indeed.
