More sectarian violence at Scottish Orange parades

Police have arrested 36 people at a number of Orange marches. Strathclyde Police had warned of a zero tolerance approach to alcohol fuelled, sectarian violence.

BBC News - Orange marches in Glasgow lead to 36 arrests

Disgraceful stuff yet again. Why are these drunken yobs allowed to parade in this day and age? The police have no problem banning EDL and BNP rallies in England. Time for the OO to be banned until they sort themselves out.

Your off topic, whataboutery and all round trolling is quite irritating. Stick to the topic at hand or kindly bog off.

Well if Scotland does go independent this is one thing we won't miss them for!

For all the SNP talk, Scotland seems a pretty divided country to me.

Alcohol seems something of an issue here. I wonder if the parades could be allowed under conditions. If they take the parades seriously and they're supposed to represent something seriously important to them, it seems odd and disrespectful to their own cause to get drunk before the parade.

Surely they can manage to parade sober?

Perhaps conditions could be imposed regarding behaviour and alcohol banned before and during the parade, on pain of the parade being banned in future.

Oh it does but I suspect alcohol and sectarianism is neither sides pejorative. I suspect that you are not especially worried about it rather this is an example of political points scoring.

Trolling would be claiming the arrests were for sectarian violence when the story says no such thing .....
