In fact there has been a complete media blackout about this case for weeks.

The question is: why have the mainstream media started to report on it now ?

Is it because they've realized that it had already spread around the web?
Are they realizing just how irrelevant they now are ?

When stories about the predilections of Pakistani men started hitting the headlines about 18 months ago Channel 4 ran an excellent documentary fronted by a presenter of asian-origin. One of those interviewed at length was a Councillor (as opposed to counsellor) from North-West England ( also of asian extraction) who barefacedly admitted that it was a major problem from the West-Midlands to all-points north, not amongst ALL asians but of men of Pakistani and Bangladeshi origin almost exclusively.

At the same time police in Lancashire were forced to admit they had known the seriousness of the problem for at least a decade but had "bowed to cultural sensitivities"

    What recent cases?

And how do you know that these men are Pakistani?

You asked me today (on another thread) how I knew the victims of these horrendous crimes were White.
You could have discovered the answer yourself if you had spent a few minutes researching the story.

    You are lazy.
The story you posted didn't substantiate your claim that the victims were white.

Why should I be the one to go to the effort of researching claims for which you don't provide evidence?

And I'm supposed to be the lazy one?

Right, because responding to a question directed at someone else to complain about a question I asked you on a completely different thread isn't whiny at all.

[I'll take being lazy, whiny and sarcastic over being racist any day.]

While many of them, perhaps all of them, may be "British citizens" I think you well understand the point being made!!

    Someone touched a nerve perhaps?

It's interesting that you should interpret clarificatory questions as evidence of "touching a nerve".
