Pity there is no more news of the world. They can't even hack into his phone anymore.

I wonder how many current British MPs have sons or daughters serving in the forces? Or like in the US,is that a rare creature?.Anyway you can be sure the Taliban will reserve special treatment for him if they can get within striking distance!

Many British MPS have been military officers and so have their sons

Flying a helicopter into battle would be the modern equivalent of riding a charger into battle while clad in a suit of mail holding a lance under your arm or flailing the heads of peasants with a mace or a sabre wouldn't it?

Is this pure egoism or is this a boy born with a silver spoon up his rectum who wants to put his life on the line for his country rather than live in a palace or both?

Things must be bad in old blighty, when little Hewit has to hang out his own washing.

Hewitt isnt his father - not unless he had the longest cock in history. He was thousands of miles away serving in the military when Diana got pregnant.

Another slight obstacle is the fact that Hewitt and Diana didnt meet or know each other until after Harry was born.

But then p.ie doesnt do facts - posters prefer posting any sort of lazy ignorant inaccurate shyte!

Jolly good post old chap, but can you verify the facts. Would you suggest an old DNA test, just in case little wille has some little mishap out at the war front in the Malvinas. As they say in Kerry, To be sure. To be sure, they always say the likes of that down in Kerry. Keep up the good work old boy.

As regards your first point, they say the size put Phils in the background.

As I understood it at the time, Harry's job was observing the fall of bombs from planes onto their targets, and reporting back on their effect. Seems to me you have to be near the front line, or forward of it, to be able to do that.

Of course if he was the son of a politician here he would have his own helicopter company, stocked with ex-Air Corps choppers, or be ushered into the family seat when Daddy had banked enough brown envelopes to be able to retire.
