    He was awarded an OBE in 1945 by the way.

    The Enigma is great as well. I read it years and years ago. I studied computing in college so he came up every so often. Parts of The Enigma may be a little bit mathsy (if I remember correctly) although overall it's a great bio and most of it is very accessible. Maybe check out some reviews on Amazon or something and see what other readers thought. You certainly don't need a computer science degree to enjoy it!
