    1) They threw their expenses-fiddling politicians in the chokey – for MORE than one night:

They almost have enough for a prison Basketball team!

British people went mad borrowing. This move by Cameron only encourages the people of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland to continue to deny the truth. British people, after a greed-inspired borrowing binge, have failed to take responsibility for their actions and now blame everyone and anyone but themselves.
This unfortunate banker is a scapegoat.

That's not the whole story. I think a lot of losses in RBS came because they got ripped off by Russian oligarchs.

Just like Irish banks got ripped off by Irish developer oligarchs.

Now ordinary people must pay to save the banks

Just wondering - but are there any more knights that were given the award of "Sir" on the recommendation of Flash Gordon/Phony Tony who are still in circulation, and have brought the whole awards system into disrepute ????
Dublin, Europe's most supportive tourist destination for Peados, thanks to no electronic passport swipe in Dublin Airport. Ireland always facilitates child molestors.

All I'm doing is editing the standard argument repeated here ad nauseam (in relation to the Irish the crisis), to see what it looks like when "British" rather than "Irish" is used.
Clearly, in both the British and Irish cases, it isn't good enough an explanation, nor a satisfactory assignation of blame.
Yet the argument will be repeated ad nauseam.

RBS also got ripped off by Irish developers (through their Irish arm - Ulster Bank). Just one example of many, is Sean Dunne. Remember him? ''The Baron of Ballsbridge'' who ''went mad borrowing'' to quote our Taoiseach. He has of course skipped off to the US leaving the Ulster Bank high and dry to the tune of 326.5 million plus interest... It is the UK taxpayer however that is on the hook for this.
