To be expected in my view, both men have launched appeals against their recent convictions. Norris is basing the appeal on the decision to allow the video surveillance evidence, dobsons grounds for appeal have not yet been released.
I have to say they have a point, the video surveillance didn't offer any tangible evidence of their guilt. The camera footage merely portrayed them as scumbags, as such it was prejudicial in my view and a retrial is merited.
This goes back to what I said at the time of the conviction, that an appeal would get them a retrial but crown prosecutors have never sought a 3rd prosecution. As such they would not be retried but would face lifetime of wink-wink-nudge-nudgery.
