The bishop claims that the state doesn't have the right to redefine marriage. I put it to him, that he does not have the right to define my marriage either.

If two consenting adults over the age of consent wish to marry each other, then they should be allowed to.

If a man and woman want to marry each other, then that should be there own personal business.

If two guys want to marry each other, then that should be there own personal business.

If two women want to marry each other, then that should be there own personal business.

Of course there should also be no discrimination between heterosexual couples and homosexual couples in marriage and upon getting divorced. Homosexual couples should be fleeced in the same manner as heterosexual couples by solicitors and barristers.

I really don't understand the people who want to police what people do behind closed doors. There obsession is weird to put it mildly. Sometimes they come across to me as wanting to join in with those couples behind closed doors.

We already have contract law. What i propose is a massive overhaul and simplification of our legal system not additional legislation.
I dont just limit that to the marriage issue.

A transvestite campaigning against gay marriage I am not going to take seriously.

Oh look, an African cleric on the more evangelical wing of the CofE opposes Gay Marriage. The shock nearly felled me.
