    RTE downgrades Ahern story?

RTE radio news starts with share price manipulation. Then the Nigerian woman to be deported, then the Gardaí's desire to use pepper spray, then Northern bank court appearance.

    THEN Gráinne Carruth is mentioned.

    Fifth fiddle!
When you see the words "Mises" or "Hayek" in someone's post, just ask yourself: do I really want to ban paper money and go back to gold?

You have to pity the kind of people who buy into conspiracy theories. I find the following to be the saddest words on the internet: "Re: connection between Bilderberg puppet lady gaga and viral outbreak in ukraine "

It was the second item on the TV news.

seems to be radio only with this particular line of priority. TV has the Tribunals more prominently showing.

But what of the TV 6 Evening news..

If our Bertie was not the headline then and only then can you make judgement.

It was second on the Six-One running order, after the Cork money-laundering story. Mary Wilson on drivetime came up with the explanation that he might have won it on a horse. Why Lawlor and Burke didn't think of that is beyond me...

That woman is incredibly annoying. When she said that I cursed and switched her off.

This Mary Wilson might be onto something but a little confused Bertie does not win money on horses he pays big money to ride them, mainly palaminas.

not that surprised. personally i get annnoyed they keep calling the money celia got a loan when its an alleged loan and saying she bought the house for her aunt when the aunts name isnt on the deeds.

its either sloppy reporting , or bias. i favor the latter. after all we know who pays everyone at RTE .

in fairness this is where today fm and newstalk are laughing. great coverage from each.

I've given up trying to clean any kind of news from RTE as regards the Bertie affair. Its completely off the wall and constantly swallows the Bertie Line with no substantive questioning. Whoever is compiling the reports should take the 'journalist' tag out of their title and replace it with 'media presenter'.
