There is a staunch FF lad in our office + even he admitted that todays evidence is the end for ahern.

I wouldn't get carried away. His lawyers are as we speak working hard to come up with some bullsh1t 'reconciliation', they will bluster, throw up smokescreens, attack everyone and his mother, in order to divert attention. Flynn has little motivation to tell the truth, particularly now that there are questions surrounding HIS relationship with O'Callaghan. Ahern will continue on, though in any other country he would have been gone long ago. That's the great little country we live in, the 1916 dead would be so proud...

I'm not so sure, this money being lodged in his kids accounts is pretty damning. If he does attempt to produce another smoke screen its time for us to remove him and his cronies by force.

exactly as i posted last night, all the bank care about is the money is accounted for. Mr hughes pretty much demolished alot of what collins said the previous day. this isnt some ignorant mick, its the manager of the bank refering to a preferential client who didnt even need to que to do business.

interesting to note the difference between the permos business practices and AIBs "whoops weve lost all the files" modus operandi. not only does he actually remember clients and accounts but he has RECORDS !, whoda thunk it, cataloging an extremely large number of stg going through berts daughters account.

i did kinda feel sorry for berts secretary in st lukes though. being caught telling porkies when presented with the documentary evidence of doing the exact opposite of what she earlier testifed to the poor girl burst into tears.

be very interesting to see what she "reflects" on like the judge asked her to do in relation to the stg lodgements.

Philip Murphy and his manager in AIB O'C st, know their stuff just like Blair Hughes, have no doubts, but they have been pulled for the greater cause to protect Bertie.
