It may be like the Beef Tribunal report. The real meat was in the evidence of that not in the white wash finale. Hamilton went on to become Chief Justice !

Okay for purely political reasons the ABFF cannot wait for the Mahon Report. However, there is the small matter of allegations that were considered in detail by the Tribunal and which in turn may or may not lead to criminal proceedings in the courts. The ABFF are experts on FF in political matters and believe also FF is the home of corruption so what exactly are the ABFF hoping will eventually hit the courts. Take Bertie, what would the ABFF like to have him charged with ? What do the ABFF believe he is guilty of that will stand up in court ? Now I appreciate the favourite meal of the ABFF is chicken but for once change the diet and tell the world what you think should be the outcome of the Mahon Report that has you frothing at the mouth

    Agreed.

Whatever happened to Stanley, kilroe4seasons and Digout? I hope that they will be back in some form on this site for the post-mortem....

The Mahon Report should provide us with one single figure - the amount of money that was flowing through Bertie's accounts/safe when he was playing the ordinary working class dub. That figure alone (c€350k I think) should be the main feature of the report.

Surely the tribunal will find Bart innocent. All the evidence was given under oath and he is a very religious man................supposedly.

So how much money did we blow on this? 70million by October 2007?

To tell us that Bertie's a crook?

    Is that news?

To some posters the outcome of the report is irrelevant. I remember asking one poster that if the tribunal finds Bertie guilty of nothing but stupidity, will he (the poster) accept the Report. He replied 'no, Bertie is guilty end of story' or some such comment. I'm still looking for that thread.
