I am in a sweep on the publication date, I have the 17th Jan. €250 in the pot, so am more than usually interested.

I phoned today, when I said what I wanted to know I was passed on to the Registrar immediately. That never happened before.

Or will Mahon simply publish report with the bits relating to that case being witheld until a later date?
I have no idea, and I have heard false stories about imminent publication before, but this time I have it from two fairly reputable sources. Whether it is true remains to be seen, but I have it that the Oireachtas will be presented with the report between the 10th and 15th.

1997 is when this abortion was set up. 15 years later and they're still tip toeing around corrupt a'hole councillors...

The 'justice' system in this country is a f***ing joke.

No doubt in 15 years we'll still be tip toeing round the likes of Seanie Fitz and the rest of the w*nker bankers and bent councillors and dodgy politicians who destroyed Ireland...

Actually now that I think about it - it's probably the Irish establishment in its entirety that's a f***ing joke, and dodgy, and rotten to the core.
The €uro is dying. Fiat money is worthless. Long live the Gold Standard!

Ahern, Sean Fitz, Lenihan, Fingers, Cowen etc will, given enough time, be lauded as the nation's great heros, but that's the cronyism that infests Independent newspapers, RTE etc We'll be told it was all a great master stroke and it worked out for the better in the long run, our maturity as a nation etc As Orwell pout it "War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength."
