Is it D-day for Moriarty? Trib says Moriarty may end as accused of fraud by Desmond

Shane Coleman in the Sunday Tribune claims an exclusive reporting that the Moriarty Tribunal may end as Dermot Desmond has accused it of fraud.

The Trib reports that Dermot Desmond has taken a High Court challenge to seek a declaration that the tribunal misled both the High Court and the Supreme Court by making "misleading, untrue and inaccurate" statements about Desmond in 2003.

Coleman reports that Desmond's claims against the tribunal are so severe that if the High Court finds in his [Desmond's] favour the tribunal could not continue in it's present form.

From the frontpage of the Sunday Tribune...

Meanwhile John Burke on the frontpage of the Sunday Business Post reports that Denis O'Brien's lawyers have given the tribunal until this week to formally withdraw findings linking money paid by O'Brien to accounts connected with former Fine Gael (now Independent) TD Michael Lowry.

How did Moriarty get so much wrong. He was known to be a good judge, and where were Tribunal counsel, solicitors and staff. Any finding he comes out with now will seem to be tarnished.
You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.

Am I right in thinking that Richard Nesbitt gave his evidence long after the provisional report had been sent to O Brien and Lowry?Just doesn`t sound kosher in my opinion.

This is turning into an absolute farce. After all these years this is what it is going to coming down to now.
Will be an all time low in Irish Politics if nothing comes from this tribunal given how long it has taken.

We'll have to see, I suppose.

Don't judges get decisions reversed all the time, though? It's part of the job, and there's be no reason to have a hierarchical system of judges otherwise.
When you see the words "Mises" or "Hayek" in someone's post, just ask yourself: do I really want to ban paper money and go back to gold?

You have to pity the kind of people who buy into conspiracy theories. I find the following to be the saddest words on the internet: "Re: connection between Bilderberg puppet lady gaga and viral outbreak in ukraine "
