Meanwhile John Burke on the frontpage of the Sunday Business Post reports that Denis O'Brien's lawyers have given the tribunal until this week to formally withdraw findings linking money paid by O'Brien to accounts connected with former Fine Gael (now Independent) TD Michael Lowry.
So Lowry will now be free to rejoin Fine Gael?
You should listen to my bias, not the other side’s bias.

Sorry, and I really don't mean to accuse you of being stupid, but have you not being following matters recently? This whole latest fiasco came to light when Nesbitt, and officials, told the tribunal years ago that he, Nesbitt SC had, in fact, given advice to the AG, and the Department, about the issuance of the licence being kosher in circumstances where Desmond took a stake in the company mid way through the tendering process. The Tribunal never told either the O'Brien or Desmond legal team of this, fairly, salient fact. That has cause the latest trips to the Four Courts and withdrawal of provisional findings.

And the resident blueshirts will cease telling us he's "really FF"? Now it will be "of course we knew all along he did nothing out of the way - sure he's a whiter than white FGer"

Lets get it straight,Moriarty has made two errors in relation to the technical issue of the licence award. This was stupid. The mistakes have been admitted.
What we would like to know is, did Dennis O'Brien,a brilliant businessman of the higherst integrity pay Michael Lowrey,a superb Government Minister of the highest integrity any money to secure the most lucrative state licence in the country's history.Of course he didn't!!
Lets hear it from Moriarty. Why are some people trying to mussel this??Bloody Communists are at work here!!
