What are Navy doing to end Dublin Port blockade

Apparently a group of dock workers are blockading Dublin Port, obviously this is illegal, so why aren't either the Gardai or the Navy breaking the blockade?

This is incredibly serious as such a blockade stops trade in and out of most of Ireland, although there are alternative routes via northern Ireland.

no doubt the Gardai will look the other way, and say they need a court order, like they do with every vested interest group that illegally blocks roads, access points, etc

Obviously illegal? What precise law would you say they're breaking here?

And the navy won't be involved because we don't use the military to sort out industrial disputes.

Maybe they do need a court order.... What law exactly are they breaking by the way?

Its not the Gardai or a military role to intervene in a trade dispute. Would you be quite as Attila the Hun if the (unionised) Gardai decided the employer was acting illegally in the first place and dealt with him?

"vested interest groups" [banksters, fraudsters, FF gangsters] have been acting illegally for years but not 1 has been up in court, unlike dockers & travel shop workers trying to protect jobs. Gardai will look the other way - too right!

It's illegal to block any road, sea route etc. In fact, the sea blockade by the United States against the Soviets in the Cuban Missile Crisis was, by definition, an act of war.

Are the unions declaring war on the state?

Surely all this is perfectly normal.

Im All Right Jack O,Connor and SIPTU run Ireland. This is incontestable.

Gardai,Military and Government Leaders are all duty bound to respect
every diktat from this great man and his patriotic organisation.

The great lumpen private sector proletariat will continue to feed the new mandarin public sector class and woe betide those who stand in the way of their new found ascendancy status.
