Imagine THREE attempts to land (Irish Times 28th) then a diversion.
A few points come to mind
1. In any airline with standards two missed approaches to the same airport is considered as criteria for a mandatory diversion.
2. Was this a case of pressonitis rather than have to explain or justify diverting?
3. What was the experience level? Shannon is not a demanding airport by any yardstick.
4. How come Aer Lingus was'nt blamed.
Maybe the PR wallahs were too preoccupied with the 10% drop in the share price yesterday after the results?
The mask is slipping
