    Rules of the road

Is there a link to this online? Not some traffic school version but the official version.

Because, i'll get mightily pee-ed off if there isn't.
That's complete nonsense. I disagree with you.

Amazing how we're trying to promote road safety but you can't get a copy of the rules easily.

Specific question: two lanes are merging into one. Of the traffic in both lanes, which car has right of way, which car yields?
That's complete nonsense. I disagree with you.

Good Question. I just ususlly see how fast the other guy is going and either i let him in or vice versa...

Kind of a courtesy thing ! Id love to know the textbook answer though!

There's usually a curving arrow in the right side of the lane. To me that indicates right goes first. Elsewhere in the rules, you yield to traffic on your right. But the traffic on the left assumes it has right of way, I find.

Incredibly you have this mad situation leaving the M50 tollbridge heading north coming out of the "easypass" lane. This must be the busiest piece of roadspace in the entire country and its dependent on nod & wink driving.

    Madd!

If the arrow is in the right-hand lane pointing into the left-hand lane, the instruction is for the traffic in the right-hand lane to merge into the other lane. This means that you have to give way to the traffic already in the left-hand lane.
