at least he pays his taxes,
    How do you know that?
Is it because he made a big song and dance outside the Dail waving an inflated cheque at the medias cameras?
    Is that what convinces you?
Don't be a frickin' MORON! Haven't you caught on yet? The liars of Irish business are only beginning to be exposed. Let the game play out.

In the meantime consider this - even if O'Leary pays his PERSONAL taxes - his company's tax avoidance scams are robbing this state of millions upon millions of euro. Spend a penny to save hundreds of pounds! Thats the game. Just a load of SPIN and SH1TE.

It has now emerged (as I previously asserted) that his pilots were all along receiving unTaxed payments which constituted up to 50% of their salaries. The UK IRS are now onto it and demanding Taxes be paid from this income....Ryanair have depressed these guys salaries for years based on this tax avoidance scam. Will they make up the difference now? In a recession? These Ryanair pilots meagre salaries are about to be chopped again, by about 25%.

Ryanair say they plan to force all their customers to check-in online by the end of the year. Sounds unworkable to me.

Only EU citizens can check-in online. Meaning US/Oz/tourists and the 10 million non-EU perminant residents of the EU, will no longer be able to fly ryanair (unless the scrap that rule).
Also, passengers need to get access to a pc and printer 72 hours before their flight - makes it difficult if your are travelling around.

Personally, this will put me off flying Ryanair.
I think the government should sell Aer Lingus to RyanAir or to any other bidder.

I'm actually not a fool, though I doubt if you're the person to make that judgment. Let's say "sell their share in Aer Lingus".

What are you, one of the Fianna Fail supporters in North Dublin who look upon Aer Lingus as your cash cow for life? Relax, you'll be unemployed before year's end.

Lets say you try to get your facts right first off, before putting your foot in your voluminous gob.

Aer Lingus Share price worth so much ......how at €0.86......funny how the board claiming it was woth €4-5 seems to be laughed at by the market.

Meanwhile, a new private entry into the market (Ryanair) was able to compete and overtake this publicly-backed monopoly. . . so there's nothing to stop another company setting up in Ireland if they are run well enough to get a share of the market and make a profit.
There is, its called Ryanair. It will simply drive out any potential competitor by predatory pricing, as in GO! and possibly Aer Arann. Amazing how all these knee jerk funda-capitalists love to slag off monopolies unless its their kind of monopoly.
