Am I right in saying that Ryanair will charge everyone 5 euro per flight for ONLINE checkin?

And that using a checkin desk until November will cost 15 euro.

And then he says the travel tax is crazy for tourism, more like its 10 euro on a ticket not going into his pocket that he peeved off about.

Can't understand the fuss over this. Have done it loads of times. It is just 1 less queue to contend with. You can check in online 2 weeks beforehand so usually you can do both the outward and return together. You can bring plenty in the cabin luggage, all you have to do when you get there is buy some razors. Those who want to book 'their' seat can always go with Aer Lingus or some other dinosaur carrier, actually I've also flown with Aer Lingus recently & it was almost identical to Ryanair 'service'-wise.

No, the charge is if you check in at the airport.

No. You currently have to pay to check in at the airport.

    The new system will be:

€5 to check in on line, per person, per flight. €20 to check in at the airport/per person/per flight, until October when you will only be able to check in on-line.

Press release is inconsistent so reckon it will be clarified before its implemented.
