NBRU will strike on Feb 28 with a further two day strike in March according to this evening's RTE Six One News.
Striking on a Saturday? So we expect another march on O'Connell street that nobody will care about?

A champion of the people emerges with the age-old and appealing promise of "something for nothing" - to be financed through every-increasing taxes. A strike is somewhat different to a march. During a strike, things shut down, buses stop moving and trains sit in stations (so not that much different to now!).
They may wish to inconvenience the transport arrangements of the minimum number of people by holding the strike on a Saturday. The six nations game between Ireland-England is, however, taking place on Sat. 28th, so a shutdown of bus, rail links will get a reasonable amount of publicity because of this.

If that's believed, be prepared to let your jaws go slack often in the near future.
