The government knew that lots of things were on the way - forward planning was never their forté.

The army may be out on the streets later this year when the economic gridlock takes hold.

Why do we need the army for this? It should be done by the local authorities.
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

its like this if the army were out there might be able to keep traffic flowing, for instance the have a main road closed down in saggart and very little work been done on it the last two days, and its causing choas all the way down naas road, i think road should of been re opened up just ease some of the traffic ,no they didnt the put barriers up on roads in to tallaght and saggart ,citywest and walked away.so if congestion in all these areas and its causing gridlock,if you all remember the emmin concert a few years ago in punchestown it caused gridlock because they were charging cars in at the gate on the its caused gridlock back to the city centre, the next year they planned every in advanced and theres been no grid lock since, all it need is planning ie army navy what or ever it takes its a no brainer

You want the army to build roads? Or do you want the army to stand by and shoot contractors who don't build roads quickly?

perhaps they could call in air strikes on Nissan Micra drivers, esp those whom think their Micra is the only car on the road and the size of a hummer, that would be a public service
